It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert N. Hetz (Port Byron, Illinois), born in Cordova, Illinois, who passed away on August 26, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Hetz and Kathryn Hetz; his wife Marjorie Nolan; and his siblings, George, Betty Horn and Grace.
He is survived by: his children, JoDee (Jerry Lawrence), Tina (Roger Hillestad), Dr. Rob (Jean Hetz) and Roger (Kari Hetz); his close friend Ardyth Nolan; his cousin Shirley Script; and his friends, Aime, Yvette VanDriessche, Dan and Mari Talerico. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf, IA, or to the First Baptist Church of Cordova in Cordova, IL.
