It is with great sadness that we announce the death of McCoy James (Port Byron, Illinois), born in Casa, Arkansas, who passed away on March 25, 2018, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Charles James; his brothers, Jesse O. James, Jr. and William D. James; and his brother-in-law Leonard Hartsock. He is survived by: his parents, Jesse O. and Zetta I. James (McCoy); his spouse Betty A. Garner; his children, Scott James (Regina), Port Byron and Trent Stark James; his daughter-in-law Mary Cannon James of Davenport, IA; his sister Joan Hartsock of Spencer, NE; his sister-in-law Donna James; and also Coal Valley. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandson and 2 great granddaughters.
