He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alois Brackevelt and Alma Brackevelt (Kochuyt); his wife Glenda K. LaMar; his sons, Jeffrey Brackevelt (Belinda) and Jason Brackevelt (Terri); his grandchildren, Joshua, Jessica, Jacob, Matthew and Nathan; and his great grandchildren, Kami and Bayn.

Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
