With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lee Ann Carlson of Port Byron, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar "King" Carlson and Doris Carlson (Kolves); and her brother Paul Carlson. She is survived by: her children, Jeff Sparrow (Mia) of Ljusdal, Sweeden and Britta Sparrow-Battin (Phillip Battin) of St. Charles, IL; her grandchildren, Karl, Axel, Anna Sparrow, Christian, Abigail, Emma, Truitt and Grace Battin; and her sister Linda Rogers (Steve).

A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Gibson - Bode Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Ltd. (202 N Main St, Port Byron, IL 61275). A burial was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Greenview Memorial Gardens (1201 Avenue of the Cities, East Moline, IL 61244).
