He was predeceased by: his parents, Kyle Smith and Verna Smith (Price). He is survived by: his spouse Barbara; his children, Konrad Smith of Port Byron and Jennifer Allen (Chris) of Winterset; his grandchildren, Isabelle Smith, Brandon Allen and Torrie Allen; and his siblings, James Smith (Neal), Bill Smith (Trish), Barbara Bocanegra and Deb Holcomb (Jim). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
