It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Patz of Port Byron, Illinois, who passed away on December 5, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Patz and Marie Patz (Schneider); his siblings, Barbara and Arnold; and his son-in-law Randel Nance.
He is survived by: his children, Lynn Nance and Tom Patz (Florence); his grandchildren, Jessica Hill (Keith), Amber Patz, TJ Patz of Illinois and Dustin Patz Port Byron; and his great grandchildren, Alissa Patz of Cordova, Ethan Ford of Cordova, Kaylee Hill of Cordova, Kody Hill of Cordova, Alex Robinson of Cordova, Dalton of Cordova, Maddax Commins of Cordova, Jorden Patz of Hampton and Mylee Patz of Hampton.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the number of visitors will be limited to ten. Face masks and social distancing are required.
Memorials may be made to University of Iowa Children's Hospital.
