He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Finch and Georgia Munson Finch; and his brothers, Charles, William, Carl Lee and Edward.

He is survived by: his wife Ruth Glenn; his daughters, Pamela Allensworth (Dale) of Silvis, Vicki Cooney of Colona and Donna Hahn of Moline; his grandchildren, Hope Kay Allensworth, Kristina Jo Finley (Darren), James Aaron Cooney, Kirstin Danielle Hahn and Gabriella Anne Cooney; his great grandchildren, Austin Fields, Jacob Fields, Owen Fields, Wil Fields, William Finley, Audreyana Finley and Alaina Finley; and his brothers, Thomas J. Finch (Sandy) of Moline, Robert E. Finch (Yolanda) of Victorville, CA and David W. Finch (Patricia Hess) of Moline. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
