He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Ann Guldenpfennig; his brother Joseph W. Knapp of Danville, IL; and his sister-in-law Rosaleen Knapp (Martini) of Danville, IL.. He is survived by: his grandsons, Don and Roger; his sons, Gary Knapp, Don Knapp (Heather) and Roger Knapp (Tammy); his grandchildren, Dustin Knapp (Jennifer), Bettendorf, Summer Hilligas (Austin) of South Amana, IA, Zachery Knapp (Lexi) and Fox Knapp of Estes Park, CO; his sisters, Phyllis Butterfield and Lois Arbor of Haysville, KS; and his siblings-in-law, Connie Carlson and Lee Guldenfennig (Kathy). He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family or to Fairfield United Methodist Church.
