She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Wilber Hermes and Albina Hermes (Brennan); her husband Donald Frits; her children, Melinda Simpson (Steve), Mike Frits (Beth), Paula Frits and Ted Frits (Karrie); her grandchildren, Sarah Carls (Deke), Kyle Simpson, Kaitlyn Frits, Patrick Frits, Andrew Frits (Hailey) and Alec Frits; her great grandchild Dalton Carls; and her sisters, Mary Jo Bohnert and Eileen McKenzie.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Compassus, the Riverdale Education Foundation or St. John's Catholic Church.
