He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Palmer and Esther Palmer; his wife Bette; his daughter Kellie Palmer McKay (Jeff); and his grandson Dustin Palmer.
He is survived by: his children, Tara McKay (Randy) of Port Byron, Randall Palmer (Judie) of Virginia and Dirk Palmer (Bodil Weirsoe) of Florida; and his grandchildren, Kathryn Nichols (Brandon), Rachel McKay, Kory McKay, Mitchell McKay, Mathew McKay, Nelson McKay, Celeste McKay, Megan Porter (Eric) and Kaitlyn Palmer. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
