We bid farewell to Vonnie R. Wares in Poplar Grove, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 20, 2025 at the age of 88. Vonnie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Hoelzel and Minnie Hoelzel; and her son Larry Wares. She is survived by: her husband Wayne A. Wares; her children, Ted Wares (Sue), Mike Wares (Paula), Rod Wares (Becky) and Kellie Taylor (Scott); and her grandchildren, Becky Wolff, Jamie Scott, Lindsay Fidder, Caleb Wares, Craig Wares, Eric Wares, Hannah Taylor and Karlie Taylor. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, any donations received will be donated to Vonnie's favorite charities at a later date.
