With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Tommie Spurlin of Poplar Grove, Illinois, born in Vandalia, Illinois, who passed away on February 23, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arno Lyle and Mary Amelia Spurlin (Cheshier); and his brother Jimmie Lyle Spurlin. He is survived by: his wife Donna Spurlin of Poplar Grove, IL; and his children, Lori Spurlin-Beecher (Heidi) of Gilroy, CA and Tighe Spurlin (Andrea McKeever) of Portland, OR. He is also survived by extended family & numerous friends.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to the National Park Foundation or the American Cancer Society of Illinois.
