With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sylvia M. Jarog of Poplar Grove, Illinois, born in Edgar, Wisconsin, who passed away on May 8, 2023 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stella Wisnewski and Michael Wisnewski; her siblings, Frank Wisnewski (Sally), Eleanor Booker (Bert), Alex Wisnewski (Marian), Josephine Wadzinski (Harry), Lillian Wojciechowski, Margaret Haaker (Lester), Raymond Wisnewski (Lucille) and Theresa Green (Don); her sisters-in-law, Louise Jarog and Josephine Hyzy (Joseph); and her husband Walter Jarog.
She is survived by: her children, Dean Jarog (Patricia) and Andrew Jarog; her grandsons, Jonathan Jarog (Marci), James Jarog (Juthamart), Timothy Jarog, Noah Jarog and Jacob Jarog; her great grandchildren, Eva, Caroline and Clifford; and her friend Carol Pesdan.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Boone County Council on Aging - Keen Age Center, Belvedere, Il or the Alzheimer's Foundation of America are appreciated.
