He was predeceased by: his grandson Rhylen Duarte-Pincham; and his siblings, Jesus Duarte, Engelberto Duarte, Teodora Escobedo and Imelda Martinez.
He is survived by: his wife Otilia Fernandez Yanez; his children, Rogelio Duarte Jr. (Rosa) of Roscoe, IL, Maria Gill (Gary) of Poplar Grove, IL, Oscar Duarte (Cassandra), Raleigh of North Carolina, Anabel Menifee (DJ) and Winfield of Pennsylvania; his grandchildren, Issac, Noelani, Jonathan, Isabella, Noah, Noella, Joshua, Kyrie, Jacob, Kelby and Kelani; and his siblings, Eberardo Duarte, Abel Duarte, Venicia Miranda, Consuelo Duarte, Olivia Duarte, Antonia Sandoval and Leonor Duarte. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
However due to the pandemic, their annual trip to Mexico did not take place the last few years.
