She was predeceased by: her parents, William Charles and Regina Bachmann (Golla); her husband Jerry L. Peters; her sister Marjorie Bassi; her half-brother Wilbur Bachmann; and her grandchildren, Nicholas Peters and Mackenzie Mortensen.

She is survived by: her children, Larry Peters, Teresa Higgins (Scott), Denise Gipe, Angela Wanfalt (John), Martin Peters and Lisa Mortensen (Steven); her grandchildren, Brittney Peters, Ashley Grace (Michael), Jordyn Gipe, Michael Wanfalt, Nathan Wanfalt (Jessica), Allison Hernandez (Samuel), Samuel Peters (Samantha), Paxton Peters, Tanner Mortensen, Parker Mortensen and Mackenna Mortensen; her great grandchildren, Lincoln Peters, Samuel Hernandez V and Levi Grace; and her caregiver Mikayla.
