He was predeceased by: his parents, W. Floyd Evans and Letha Evans (Sharp); and his siblings, Bonnie Walters, Connie Baker, Roland Evans and Majel Evans.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Evans of Peter's Catholic Church; his children, Gene Evans (Lisa), Joan Orr (Richard), James Evans (Amy), William Evans and John Evans; his siblings, Jimmie Evans (June) and Janis Wilson; and his sister-in-law Laura Evans. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Belvidere Funeral Home (203 Logan Ave, Belvidere, IL 61008). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St. James Catholic Church (402 Church St, Belvidere, IL 61008).
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to St. James Catholic Church.
