He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor I. Galster and Mae M. Galster (Adler); and his brother Ronald Galster. He is survived by: his sister Gail Galster-Shaw (Lee); and his nieces and nephews, Allison Johnsen (Steven), Aleen Rieskamp, Rahn-Margaret Jensen (Jay), Guy Galster (Loraine), Terri Lewis (Brian) and David Shaw (Melanie).
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Doug's name can be given in care of Blaine United Methodist Church in his memory.
