She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Eugene and Mary Rita Ahlers (Sido); her brother Richard Ahlers; her brother-in-law Frank Atkins; and her parents-in-law, Frank and Betty Zaruba.

She is survived by: her daughters, LeAnne Fetrow (Mike) and Nicole Zaruba of Granite City; her grandsons, Matthew and Jacob Fetrow; her siblings, Justine Thornton (Michael), James Ahlers (Connie), Patricia Atkins, Gregor Ahlers (Amy), Glen Ahlers (Laura) and Scott Ahlers (Vicki); and her sister-in-law Linda Ahlers. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
