She was predeceased by: her parents, Odine Riggs and Elizabeth Cook (Faxton); her husband Wayne Howland; her children, Melinda Howland, Michael "Big Mike" Howland and Grayell Slusher, Jr.; and her siblings, Virgil Riggs, Charles Gilbert, Gladys Johnson and Regina Gilbert (Robert "Bob" Preston).
She is survived by: her children, Tammy Howland of Granite City and Steve Howland of Edwardsville, IL; her siblings, Jimmy Riggs, Willard Riggs, Ricky Gilbert of Granite City and Pat Securka of Cuba, MO.; and her granddaughter Elizabeth Williams of Granite City. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
