He is survived by: his mother Melba Mehelic (Walton) of Pontoon Beach, Illinois; his children, Nicholas "Nick" Mehelic (Julie) of Cumming, Georgia, Megan Toon (Ben) of Shiloh and Thomas "Tom" Mehelic (Lyndsie) of Edwardsville, Illinois; his grandchildren, Hunter, Reese, Ashlyn, Heidi and Tucker; his sister Dr. Janis (Kathy Lemansky); and the mother of his children Dianne Mehelic of Shiloh, Illinois. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
