Emil Henry Zierenberg Obituary
Emil Henry Zierenberg, 66, of Pontoon Beach, Il passed away at 5:20 p.m., Saturday, November 30, 2019 at his home. He was born January 24, 1953 in St. Louis, MO to Henry and Erma (nee: Ehmke) Zierenberg. Emil and Carole Schmutz married January 20, 2001 in Granite City, IL. He served in the U.S. Army from January 27, 1970 – December 28, 1973.
Emil retired from St. Louis Prestress, Glen Carbon, IL. One of the things he loved to do was to play pool. He is survived by his wife: Carole (nee: Schmutz) Zierenberg of Pontoon Beach, IL; son: Tory Zierenberg; two brothers: Robert Westley (Margaret) Zierenbery of Sparta, IL, Dennis Zierenberg of Mt. Vernon, IL and a sister: Nancy Zierenberg of Belleville, IL.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers: Henry and Donald Zierenberg and a sister: Eva D'Angelo. The family will have a graveside service at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO, these services are pending.
