It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William T. Battice of Pontiac, Illinois, who passed away on January 7, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Battice and Betty Battice (Gray); his wife Gwen Lefler; and his stepson Kirk Lefler. He is survived by: his former wife Kathy Hurst; his children, Tom Battice (Stephanie Jones) of Pontiac and Kara Thomas of Pontiac, Illinois; his stepchildren, Nancy Lefler of Pontiac, Illinois and Greg Lefler of Phoenix, Arizona; and his sister Lynn Mongeon-Atkinson of Springfield, Missouri.. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren.
