He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Prokop and Lorraine Prokop (Salinksi); his brother-in-law Joe Taylor; and his daughter-in-law Diana Jewell Prokop. He is survived by: his former wife Janie Prokop; his children, Rachel Lee (Jim) of Pontiac, IL, Joe of Pontiac, IL and Becky Dodson (Joel) of Pontiac, IL; his grandchildren, Maddie Johansen (Devon), Hannah Lee, Aidan Lee, Willow Dodson and Griffin Dodson; his great grandchild Henry Johansen; his siblings, Mike Prokop of Chicago, IL and Cindy Taylor of New Hampshire; his nephew Joe Taylor; and his niece Danielle Wilson.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home (903 W Custer Ave, Pontiac, IL 61764).
