Thomas Dwyer Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 7, 2025, at the age of 95, Thomas Dwyer (Pontiac, Illinois) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Thomas Dwyer to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Dwyer and Ethel Dwyer (Lynch). He is survived by: his wife Mary; his sister Julia Dwyer of St Charles, IL; his children, Anne Breitenbach (late Steve) of Hartford, WI, Cathy Medearis (Steve) of Geneva, IL and Michael Dwyer (Donna) of Odell, IL.; and his grandchildren, Luke Breitenbach (Kate Schindler), Bob Breitenbach, Christoper Medearis (Donalyn), Lisa Medearis, Grace Niemeier (Nils) and Daniel Dwyer.

Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Catholic Church (313 W Hamilton St, Odell, IL 60460). A burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at the St. Paul Cemetery.

The family suggests memorials to St. Paul Church or St. Paul School, both in Odell; OSF Peace Meal; OSF Hospice; Evenglow Tjardes Health Center in Pontiac; or Fairview Haven in Fairbury.
