She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Mitchell and Dorothy Francell Mitchell; and her brother Larry Mitchell. She is survived by: her husband Douglas Mays; her children, Kenny Davies of Pontiac, Paul Davies (Letty), David Mays (Jamie) of Gravois Mills, MO, Derek Mays of Cornell, Daniel Mays (Lauren) of Flanagan, Julie Sprang (Mike) of Kansas City, MO and Jennifer Newbury (Tim) of Pontiac; and her sister-in-law Mary Mitchell of Phoenix, AZ. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
