With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sophia E. Fecht of Pontiac, Illinois, born in Emington, Illinois, who passed away on February 6, 2023 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John H. Arnolts and Sophia M. Arnolts (Rabe); and her husband William Glendon Fecht. She is survived by: her children, William J. Fecht (Susan) of Normal, IL and Jill Rambo (Phil) of Pontiac, IL; her grandchildren, George Fecht, Joshua Fecht, Jason Coward (Laurie), Jacob Coward (Ashley), Molly Zientarski (Jason), Dustin Rambo (Scarlet) and Justin Rambo (Ashley); and her close friend Effie. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Memorials in Sophia's memory may be made to St. Mary's Catholic School or to the Livingston County Humane Society.
