It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Carls (Pontiac, Illinois), who passed away on May 11, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Welbes and Mary Welbes; her siblings, Catherine and Lee; and her sisters-in-law, Phyllis and Nancy.
She is survived by: her son Carl L. Carls (Jane) of Tasmania, Australia; her grandson Henry Carls; her brother Richard Carls (Kathy) of El Paso; her niece Tammy Rever (Joe); and her nephews, Larry Hinthorne (Cindy) and Michael Welbes. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
