It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roland G. Hamand of Pontiac, Illinois, born in Champaign, Illinois, who passed away on July 12, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James N. Hamand and Bernice Palmer; and his wife Betty Jean Hamand (Hall). He is survived by: his children, Tim Shilson (Rose) of Indianapolis, IN, Tom Shilson (LaVonne) of Weston, IL, Tammy Staley (Steven) of Pontiac, IL, Ronald Hamand (Andrea) of Woodstock, IL, Tracie Diehl (Jeff) of Monroe, WI, Eric Hamand of Pontiac, IL and Jason Hamand of Black Earth, WI; and his brother Stanley Hamand (Millie) of LaGrange, KY.. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren.
