He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert W. Kirgan and Mary Lou Kirgan (Hughey); his sister Patricia Convis; his nephews, Mike Maffett (Yvonne) of Pontiac and Matt Maffett (Paula) of Melvin; and his niece Mary Maffett of Fairbury. He was also cherished by nine great nieces and nephews and 18 great-great nieces and nephews.
