She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Jardine (Jackie) of Dwight, IL, James Jardine (Connie) of Pontiac, IL, Deborah Aberle (Dennis) of Chatsworth, IL and Michelle Miller (Vance) of Saunemin, IL; her grandchildren, Sean (Joshua Jardine), James Jardine (Jennifer Rexroad), Renee Harris, Kristen Eighner (Matthew Aberle), Jakob, Elizabeth and Tiffany (Danielle Miller); and her sister Mary Dove of Jefferson City, MO.. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.

Memorials in Rita's name may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
