He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross "Max" and Agnes Winters (Falk); his brother Kenneth Winters; his daughters-in-law, Susan Winters and Sandra Winters; and his granddaughter Stephanie Carter.
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor M. Bresee; his sons, Stephen R. Winters (Joyce) of Kissimmee, FL and David R. Winters (Carol) of Pontiac, IL; and his grandchildren, LaKrista Holland, Matthew Winters (Melissa), Aaron Winters (Andria) and Karin Winters (Rory). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
