He was predeceased by: his parents, Theron R. Barnard and Creola M. Barnard (Bradshaw). He is survived by: his wife Judy KayE Marker; his daughters, Kimberly K. Martin (Paul) of Pontiac, IL, Lisa L. Barnard-Lannon of Pontiac, IL and Michelle R. Sancken (Randy) of Pontiac, IL; his grandchildren, Austin Moore (Angie), William Lannon, John Lannon, Cobi Parra, Noah Parra, Brandon Sancken (Julie), Wesley Sancken (Bria) and Lucas Sancken (Lydia); and his great grandchildren, Conrad, Brantley, Abel Moore, Brayden, Kenley Sancken, Brynn, Willow, Westen "Sir", Lily, Lanie and Landree. He is also survived by 13 brothers and sisters.
