With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Jo Murphy of Pontiac, Illinois, born in Streator, Illinois, who passed away on November 21, 2022 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Coughlin and Ferne Coughlin (Meyer); and her children-in-law, Bob Harty and Rita Murphy. She is survived by: her husband Patrick Murphy; her children, John Murphy of Pontiac, Kevin Murphy (Marsha) of Dwight, Colleen Melvin (Tom) of Pontiac and Patti Jo Harty of Pontiac; and her grandchildren, Matthew, Emily, Katelyn, Megan, Kelli, Kelsi, Patrick, Kristin, Jillian and Nicole. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
Family suggests memorials be made to St. Mary's School or family's wishes.
