With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry L. Hassinger of Pontiac, Illinois, who passed away on July 18, 2021 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Rients and Dorothy Hassinger Rients (Hoerner); his stepfather Orville Rients; his parents-in-law, Leo and Jean Abry; and his brother-in-law David Abry.
He is survived by: his wife Deanna "DeeDee" Abry; his son Joseph P. Hassinger (Ashley) of Pontiac, IL; his grandchildren, Addison and Leo Hassinger; his pets, Coco and Tank; his sister Diane Hammond (Steve) of Fairbury, IL; his stepsiblings, Karen Bellot (Mark) of Joliet, IL and Alan Rients (Susan) of Minonk, IL; and his brother-in-law Doug Abry (Candy) of Odell, IL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to St. Mary's School in Pontiac or to a charity of the donor's choice.
