She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Gschwendtner and Eileen Gschwendtner (Powell); her husband Louis Lyons; and her siblings, Alan Gschwendtner, Denny Gschwendtner, Bernice Edwards and Jo Schultz.
She is survived by: her sons, Lon Lyons (Robin) of Peoria, Larry Lyons (Maureen) of Normal and Jim Lyons (Cindy) of Bloomington; her sister Gladys Knudson of Pontiac; her grandchildren, Matt Lyons (LB), Kristin Szymanek (Daniel), Jamie Langworthy (Robert), Jared Lyons, Kelsey Lyons and Tyler Lyons (Kiersten); and her great grandchildren, Kathryn Langworthy, Charles Langworthy and Charlotte Lyons.
Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Grade School or St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
