She was predeceased by: her parents, Issac Leatherman and Elnora Leatherman (Weaver); and her siblings, Samuel Leatherman, Johnny Leatherman, Issac Leatherman, Martha Nabors, Florence Mestas, Ruth Hodgeson and Marilyn Ernst.
She is survived by: her spouse Merle F. Ferguson; her sons, Michael F. Ferguson (Brenda) of Oviedo, FL, William D. Ferguson (Sharon) of Knoxville, TN and James E. Ferguson (Melissa) of Plymouth, MN; her grandchildren, Lauren Ferguson, Matthew Ferguson (Sarah), Kathryn Ferguson, Jakob Ferguson and Claire Ferguson; and her great grandchildren, Miller and Isla Ferguson. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to the Livingston County Humane Society, First United Methodist Church of Pontiac, Evenglow Inn of Pontiac, or charity of the donor's choice.
