It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Karen Sue Curtiss of Pontiac, Illinois, born in Bloomington, Illinois, who passed away on January 4, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Evans and Mabel Evans (Williams); her sister Betty Wheeler; her grandson Bradyn; and her sister-in-law Patsy Curtiss.

She is survived by: her husband Leroy "Roger" Curtiss; her children, Brett Burns (Sheila) of Graymont and Carrie Hoecker (Eric) of Peoria; her siblings, James Evans (Diane), George Evans of El Paso, Richard Evans (Linda) of El Paso, Ronald Evans (Sue) of Peoria, Roger Evans of El Paso, Kevin Evans (Karen) of El Paso and Peg Trempel (Joe) of Bloomington; her grandchildren, Dallas, Shane (Ally), Cheyenne, Gavin and Vincent; her great grandchildren, Jett, Harper, Jacob and Natalia; her siblings-in-law, Linda Hurt (Harold) of Chenoa and Robin Curtiss (Kathy) of Champaign; her extended family Amanda Hill; and also, Brianna and Estella. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
