It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Josephine Ferguson of Pontiac, Illinois, who passed away on April 24, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph V. Mies and Marie Mies (Harr); and her sister Vonnie. She is survived by: her children, Susan Rodriguez, Richard "Chip" Ferguson, Andrew Ferguson, Benjamin Ferguson and Sally Harcharik (Jack); and her grandchildren, Talia Fonce, Anna Rodriguez, Matthew Ferguson, Kyle Allen (Brittney Miller), Abbey Harcharik (Mitchell Harrell), Kassyn Harcharik, Elissa Schlosser (Nathan) and Amy Mason (James). She is also survived by many great grandchildren.
Due to Covid, Ferg's final wishes to have her body donated to Science could not be fulfilled.
Memorials can be made in Karen's name to a charity of the donor's choice.
