He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman John and Myrtle Kramer (Mott); and his siblings, Harold John Kramer, Dorothy J. Baughman, Helen E. Bammann and Marjorie Mabel Gamblin.
He is survived by: his spouse Dorothy Long; and his sons, Dennis John Kramer of Mansfield, IL, Gary Paul Kramer (Alice) of Festus, MO, Richard Alan Kramer of Pontiac, IL and James Howard Kramer (Jeannie) of Pontiac. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions in John's name may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
