With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan S. Hughes of Pontiac, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on September 15, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walker J. Scott and Mary J. Scott (Greco); her former husband Oscar Luna; her husband Matthew Hughes; and her sister Muriel Jean Adams.
She is survived by: her children, Mario Luna (Bette) of Normal, IL, Melissa Justus (Jesse) of Pontiac, IL and David Hughes (Sue) of Georgia; her grandchildren, Stephanie Morrison of North Carolina, Carleigh Hughes of Georgia and Chase Hughes of Georgia; her nieces, Amber Sitko of Michigan and Debra Adams of Michigan; and her pet Frankie.
