He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ira Earnest and Lora Lambert (Rayborn); his wife Maxine McDowell; his children, Walter F. Lambert (Diana) of Herrin, IL, Bertrand Gibson of Pontiac, IL, Kevin Lambert (Nancy) of Benton, IL, Melinda Schoen and John Allan Gibson; and his grandson James Fredrick Lambert. He was also cherished by seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; five great great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
