He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Holzhauer and Wanda Holzhauer; his sisters, Jean Fager and Ruth Backer; his nephews, Ron Backer and Bob Cottrell; and his niece Shirley Redmond.
He is survived by: his children, Scott Holzhauer (Mary) of Pontiac, Yvonne Maffett (Mike) of Pontiac and Robert J. Donley of Texas; his nephew Bill Cottrell (Susan) of Lakewood Ranch, FL; and his grandchildren, Rachel Holzhauer, Justin Holzhauer, Trisha Biernat (Ryan), Joseph Donley, Tyler King, Emily Miller (Brad), Adam King (Katie), Allison Eggenberger (Corey), Taylor Fortner (Taryn), Mitchel Cool, Traci Bunch and Brandon Maffett (Micah). He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren.
