With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Frank Knackstedt of Pontiac, Illinois, born in Marion, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 3, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Frank departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Frank. Though Frank may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Knackstedt and Treva Knackstedt (Duke); his sisters, Wilma "Irish" Shaw and Norma Jean Knackstedt Ingmire; and his stepson Timothy Hubbard.
He is survived by: his children, Frank Goetzfridt (Janet) of Blue Springs, MO, Kelley Hatfield (Mark) of Lee's Summit, MO, Timothy Knackstedt (Erin) of Geneseo, IL, Karolynn Schwartz of Washington, IL and Barbara Masching (Dave) of Van Buren, MO. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
