With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn Ruth Ribordy of Pontiac, Illinois, born in Loda, Illinois, who passed away on November 21, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father David Sabel; her former husband Chester Travis; her husband William Ribordy; and her daughter-in-law Kristi Travis. She is survived by: her children, Chester Eugene Travis (Lynn), James Edward Travis (Tricia) and Mary Ruth Lown; and her siblings, Ethel Gentes (Robert), Hazel Isaacson, Bessie Ritter, Jack Rasmus, Margaret Ketchmark (Gene), Janet Harrison (Bill) and Doris Sawin (Christopher). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren.
Memorials in Evelyn's memory may be made out to St. Mary's Catholic Church or to St. Mary's Food Pantry.
