“Lorraine was such a fun, caring person that brought comfort and reason to the family. She was always welcoming and was rarely surprised that we were all human. She accepted the joys and sorrows we all experience and looked forward to another phase of our lives. She was so much like her mother, Aunt Olepha, and the joviality of her father, Uncle Ed, in the acceptance of life and the drive to happily go forward. We will miss her positive, capable presence. We send our love and prayers, Lorraine.”

“Lorraine was such an interesting, kind, and caring person - with a great sense of humor! I admired her for her career and for her independence. It was fun to talk with her at family events, including at the birthday parties she used to organize for her mother, Aunt Lee. My father, Harry Kammermann Deffley, was her first cousin, and considered Lorraine a dear friend and a special person. She will be missed! Please accept my condolences.”
