With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald R. Burger of Pontiac, Illinois, born in Dwight, Illinois, who passed away on September 7, 2020 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Burger and Ila Burger (Scott); and his grandson Justin Burger. He is survived by: his close friend Marcia Madsen of Pontiac; his children, Mike Burger (Theresa) of La Salle, IL., Tim Burger (Melanie) of Pontiac, IL, Tina Barton (Blair) of Cornell, IL. and Jim Burger (Judy) of Pontiac, IL; his stepchildren, Donna Underwood (Jeff), Ted Madsen (Dorothy) and Brad Madsen (Sara); and his grandchildren, T. D. Burger (Sara), Niki Friedman (Jeb), Megan Barton, Marissa Barton, Sara Barton, Jason Burger and Jake Burger. He is also survived by many step grandchildren; many great grandchildren and many step great grandchildren; nieces, and nephews.
