David Prokopec Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 26, 2020, at the age of 36, David Prokopec of Pontiac, Illinois, born in Mesa, Arizona passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Jeffrey Louis; and his grandparents, Jerry and Rosemary Prokopec. He is survived by: his wife Melissa Hunter; his daughters, Abagail Rose Frieders of Rockford, Jazmyn Schulter of Pontiac and Claudiajoy Prokopec of Rockford; his mother Anna Lisa Poundstone (Jeffery) of Morris; his siblings, Nicole Bouse (Eric) of Sheridan and Jeffrey Prokopec (Christina) of Oswego; his grandparents, Donald and Betty Johnson of Missouri; his goddaughter Ella Schmitt of Streator; and his parents-in-law, Ed Hunter (Val Wagher) of Streator and Ginny Raridon (Randy) of Tonica. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
