He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Trost and Jewell Trost (Schlappi); his siblings, Jeff Steimle, Mike Trost and Tim Trost; his father-in-law Paul Vogt; his brother-in-law Windle McGowan; his nephews, Jeffy Steimle and Greggy Steimle; his sister-in-law Karen Sue Vogt; and his niece Hannah Garcia.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Vogt; his children, Albert Trost (Anne) of Pontiac, IL, Jewell Trost (Antonio Tyler) of Bloomington, IL, Hazel Huncovsky (Doyle) of Pontiac, IL, Becca Trost of Tempe, AZ, Frank Trost (Skyler) of Pontiac, IL and Patti Hetherington (Josh) of Pontiac, IL; his grandchildren, Peyton, Cameron, Ella, Nora and Lola; his mother-in-law Patricia Vogt of Odell, IL; and his siblings, Greg Steimle (Diana) of Pontiac, IL., Mark Steimle (Pat Hepperly) of Pontiac, IL., Marcia McGowan of Pontiac, IL., Debbie White (Mike) of Pontiac, IL., Linda Trost (Tom Roe) of Pontiac, IL. and James Trost (Connie) of Pontiac, IL..
