He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harold E. Powley and Ora Mae Powley (VanDoren); his wife Leora "Mae" McDevitt; his daughter Lynda Johnson (Fred) of Pontiac, IL; his granddaughter Sonja Helander (Ron) of Cornell, IL; his great grandchildren, Elizabeth and Emily Helander; and his brother Ed Powley of Warrenton.
Memorials in Ron's name may be made to First Presbyterian Church, American Heart Association or a charity of the donor's choice.
