It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carol L. Thorson (Pontiac, Illinois), born in Tiskilwa, Illinois, who passed away on February 28, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lina May Smith (Moore) and Roy Tracewell Smith; her husband Oscar Silvin Thorson; and her siblings, Harry "Sonny" Smith, Violet Sobkowiak, Sidney Smith and Gloria Enbom.

She is survived by: her children, Sandra Erickson of Odell, Larry Thorson (Denise) of St. Anne and Garry (Louize Tullues) of Bertram, Texas; her grandchildren, Christopher Erickson (Andrea) of Odell, David Erickson, Matthew Erickson (Ashleigh) of Normal and Ryleigh Thorson of Milwaukee; and her siblings, Jean Spayer, Clarence Smith, Joe Smith (Barb) of Granville, Clifford Smith (Shirley) of Princeton, Gary Smith (Gaye), Rosemary Tonozzi (John), Raymond Smith (Faye) of Mendota and Dixie Tonozzi of Peru. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church or to the Livingston County Community Pantry, or OSF Hospice.
